The Greenporter is the perfect destination for entertaining guests.

Our events coordinator will work with you to design the perfect program for your special occasion. Please e-mail your inquiry along with date of occasion to events@thegreenporter.com.

Our highly acclaimed restaurant and hotel facilities provide the ideal setting for a rehearsal dinner, bridal brunch, pool party, or corporate retreat. Let us arrange your wine tasting tour, fishing or boat charter.

If you are expecting a party of 5 or more at Cuvée Bistro & Bar during the normal hours of restaurant operation, a credit card is required to reserve. Should your plans change, please let us know. Due to limited seating, we require a 48-hour cancellation notice or a cancellation fee of $25 per person in the reservation will be charged to the credit card on file.

Please note that for special events such as wine or theme dinners, a credit card is required to book all reservations regardless of size.

Dining Room and Terrace
Our French Bistro and the adjoining terrace is the perfect venue for your rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, intimate wedding or private party. Catering for up to 50 guests in the restaurant and up to 50 on the terrace, you will find this a stunning venue for your event. Whether it is your corporate holiday party held fireside in our dining room or a springtime luncheon on our terrace, you and your guests will experience an unforgettable gathering. Call for details.

Poolside Banquet or Party
Dine under the stars against the backdrop of our pool filled with floating candles. Catering for up to 175 people for sit-down dinner and up to 250 for cocktail party, our pool deck is available between 7:00 p.m. up to 1:00 a.m. Or host a more casual event poolside, such as a clambake complete with wine or a keg of Long Island beer. We can provide you with a live bluegrass band or a DJ. (An additional insurance fee for pool usage of non-hotel guests will be required.) Call for details.

Group Activities/Team Building
We offer a Team Building Wine Makers package for your corporate needs. We can arrange a group yoga class or group fitness class with one of our certified personal trainers or organize a harbor tour or fly fishing expedition. Golf can be arranged at Island’s End Golf Club, as well as a kayaking excursion on Shelter Island. You can also take a bicycle tour to the vineyards or to Shelter Island.

Wedding Planning Services
Please make an appointment to speak to our wedding consultant for full detail of our provided services and associated management fees. Get married on one of our local vineyards or at sea on a schooner. With a complimentary consultation we provide full service for your special day including save-the-dates, invitations, the cake, the minister/rabbi, the flowers, the music, the photographer, and the decorations. We can take care of everything from catering your wedding party, your engagement party and bridal shower to groomsmen getaway packages, rehearsal dinners and providing full group transportation needs. We also provide additional services to further assist the bride and groom by arranging amenities upon arrival for your guests and entertainment for those visiting. We can book water tours of the local islands as well as fishing, bicycling, and vineyard tours among many other activities.

Off-site Catering
Should you decide to host your event at one of the many vineyards in the area, or on the beach, we provide on-site catering packages. Just let us know where and when. Whether you are planning anything from a relaxed picnic or a sumptuous seven-course dinner, we can help you plan your event and cater it for you.

Livery Service
Bus, Van, Limo, Private Car (pick up and drop off at airport, NYC, etc). We can provide you with the names of these service professionals in the area or we will arrange the services for you for a fee.
